Continued

Having neglected and finally deleted my previous blog I'm starting fresh with a clean slate. I am a 21 year old undergraduate student who, up until a few months ago, was looking at a promising career in IT.  Unfortunately there's a part of me that's always told me I'd go into medicine eventually and a couple of months ago it went into overdrive. I packed my bags, gave my computer to a friend of mine and moved from Melbourne to Adelaide. I was broke, alone and staring down the barrel of at least seven years of study to get my medical degree.

It is now almost April and I've settled in Adelaide nicely. My classes and study take up 10-12 hours a day and funnily enough, I couldn't be happier. To think the government is actually paying me to sit around and do science, ALL FREAKIN' DAY! Suckers!
